Application & Review Process

Membership applications to the Bharat Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery (BSLMS) are accepted throughout the year.

All completed applications will undergo formal review by the designated Membership Committee. In circumstances requiring additional evaluation, the application may be placed before the Executive Board for final consideration.

Membership privileges and benefits become effective upon official confirmation of acceptance by the Society.

Applications may also be submitted in physical format via registered mail.

Important Instructions to Applicants

• Please ensure that all sections of the application form are completed accurately.
• Incomplete applications may be returned for clarification.
• Supporting credentials, certifications, and professional documents must be attached where applicable.
• The Society reserves the right to verify submitted information before granting membership.

Membership Classification

Applications will be reviewed under the membership category selected by the applicant. However, based on qualifications and eligibility criteria, the Society may approve membership under a different category deemed appropriate.

If an applicant disagrees with the final decision regarding membership status or category, a formal request for reconsideration may be submitted to the Executive Board in accordance with the Society’s Governance & Policy Framework.

Confirmation & Member Induction

Upon approval:

• A formal confirmation email will be issued.
• A digital Membership Certificate will be provided.
• A Member Welcome Kit outlining benefits, privileges, and professional engagement opportunities will be shared.
• Access credentials for the BSLMS Member Portal will be activated.

Professional Conduct & Waiver Clause

As a condition of application and continuing membership, all applicants and members acknowledge and agree to abide by the Constitution, Code of Ethics, and Board Policies of BSLMS.

Members agree to uphold professional integrity, ethical clinical practice, patient safety standards, and scientific responsibility.

By submitting this application, the applicant agrees not to initiate legal proceedings or claims against the Society, its officers, board members, committees, or representatives in matters arising from membership review, classification, or governance decisions, except as provided within the Society’s internal review policies.
